I'm in Florida! Way cool right?! On Saturday I rolled across the border into the sixth state of my tour.

My last post had me about to leave Columbus, GA just about one week ago. I have met so many cool people and many others that I would not have met had I not been delayed by my slight injury. My favorite meeting happened at a gas station in Moultrie, GA on Saturday, when two little boys rode up on their bikes and started asking me questions about what I was doing and where I was headed. They went into the gas station and afterwards brought me candy. How adorable is that? I think about how sweet those boys were to me and I pray that they continue to be happy and chill.

The most adventurous day thus far would probably be last Friday. I rode with a thunderstorm after leaving Columbus on my way to Albany, GA. Literally, I had to huddle in my raincoat, parked in a driveway that had a large stream flowing out of it, all while surrounded by lots of trees. So much lightning was striking too! It ended up that my host had to drive north to meet me and rescue me from the elements. Very sweet people! They took me to a super cool restaurant where I experienced fresh caught trout for the first time as well. We ended up staying up pretty late talking about human trafficking and what it looks like here in America.

I am so thankful for the little conversations that have been started by my bike in the first 3 weeks. It has been incredible!
